The letters are assembled as a 'countdown calendar' -- presenting each letter as a bedtime story. The series begins the night of December 18 when Santa describes a wonderful adventure with a dragon over China. The next night read his response to a little girl who wants all her gifts to go to her 'less-than-fortunate' friend Jennifer's family. Each letter touches a different chord, from Peace On Earth, to the importance of a newborn's first Christmas, and, finally, to Christmas night and Santa's description of the Joy of Giving. Together, the letters embody the caring, sharing and giving that Santa finds so meaningful at Christmas, and what many families are trying to capture.
