Illustrated by Maxwell and Lara Murray, a 12 year old Third Culture Kid living in Portugal, "Up, Up and Away" makes a wonderful gift for young people know as TCK's, who are folowing their paretns around the world. TCKs are Third Culture Kids, children of business people, diplomats, military personnel and missionaries raised in a country(ies) other than that of their parents. No matter their nationality, they blend the cultures of their passport country with the countries of their existence and become truly multicultural. Therefore, they often find it easier to relate to others who have lived abroad than to those who have stayed close to their roots.
