It talks directly to young girls aged 8 to 12 on getting along with other teammates (including difficult ones), the magic of team spirit, what to do about being nervous, how to practice on ones own to get better, etc. Its been rewritten by the original author who writes kids books as "Josie Adams." Original name on the book was Barbara J. Berst. This authors full name is Barbara Josephine (Josie) Berst Adams. She writes adult books as Barbara Berst Adams and Barbara Adams. This titles original publisher was National Lilac Publishing -- not "Barbara Berst" as this page says. National Lilac is now focusing on electronic books and handbound limited editions.
