For centuries children have been mysteriously disappearing all over the world and no one knows where they have gone - until now. Connor is an ordinary boy, whose whole life is about to change. As he becomes swept up in a catastrophic wave of events, which he had no control over, he discovers he is destined to become a host to an alien life form - the Starstone. This extraordinary entity holds powers beyond our comprehension and is sought by the Master of Darkness, Definastine, who wants the Starstone for his own selfish needs. His deadly servants are sent through a portal to our world, with an aim to destroy Connor and reclaim the Starstone.
