This padded-cloth first book for very young boys and girls opens up to display Baby's bedroom. It has a handle at its top and a Velcro tab to keep it closed when its time to be put away. Pocketed in this charming book's front cover is a smaller six-panel cloth book with simple words and pictures for Baby to recognize. The main book opens to present a two-page spread. The illustration on the left-hand page shows a bed and table, and the bedspread becomes a pocket where a soft cloth Baby and his tiny Teddy bear can be slipped inside at bedtime. Baby's bottle, also made of padded cloth, attaches to the table with a Velcro tab. The right-hand page shows Baby's dresser, complete with cloth doors that pull open and clothes inside. An adjacent window has a flap and Velcro tabs so the outdoor scene can be changed from day to night.
