Princess Rosebud is a Perfect Princess, but she wants to become even better. If she succeeds in completing the 10 tasks set out for her in this perfectly charming picture book, she will become a Perfectly Perfect Princess! Little girls are invited to open this book, join in her game, and become Perfectly Perfect Princesses in their own right. For example, Task 1 is learning to be perfectly helpful. Every day, our story's Princess waters the flowers, feeds the swans, and makes sure her 10 golden birds are safe in the royal garden. The little princess who reads this book is invited to think of ways to help Mom around the house so that she too can be perfectly useful. Then, when she studies the color illustration that comes with Task 1, she will find a gold star hidden beneath a picture flap. Each of the book's 10 tasks includes another hidden gold star reward. Among the other tasks that go to make a Perfectly Perfect Princess are keeping in tip-top shape by running and skipping, making perfect fairy cakes in the royal kitchen, and seven more. Along the way, little girls will find flaps to lift and board games to play on attractive two-page spreads. The Perfectly Perfect Princess who completes all her tasks and finds all 10 gold stars is eligible to lift one final flap on the book's last page.
