Each CD-ROM contains 12 teaching sequences covering a range of non-fiction, fiction and poetry genres. This title includes a variety of media such as video, photos, sound effects, voice-overs and animations to captivate your whole class and suit all learning styles - visual, auditory and kinaesthetic. Differentiated texts and activities are provided for each sequence, allowing you to use this resource at two levels - upper and lower KS2. Short, 2 week themed units of work allow you to seamlessly integrate "Igniting Writing" into your planning. The sequences provide step-by-step support for pupils' own writing with modelled texts, analysis of key features and interactive writing skeletons for planning. Sequences can be added to, or edited, enabling you to create your own bank of tailor-made resources. Printable Teacher's Notes for each sequence offer guidance on using the sequences plus suggestions for linked Speaking and Listening activities. It is compatible with Windows 98, NT, 2000 and XP.
