4/8/2008 Wendy Blaxland said: This book was produced as a response to the impending Iraq war from the world's children's book writers and illustrators. All royalties were donated to the children in Iraq. I have two poems and a prose piece in this book.

3/10/2008 Nicki Cornwell said: This is an anthology of writing on war and peace both by new and established writers - written in outrage against the Iraq war. All writers and illustrators gave their work for free. Proceeds from the book go to children caught up in the war. It is an invaluable resource for teachers.
