About Jon Buller (Illustrator) : Please do not mock me:
I'm an old man who's senile and quite foolish,
Sixty and upward, not an hour more or less,
And to speak frankly,
I fear that I am not in my right mind.

3/24/2010 Lizzie Ross said: Clever combo of graphic novel/traditional narrative. Loved the illustrations/graphics--very detailed. And the villains are amusing: a lizard who loves gems, and ratminks (what you get if you cross-breed rats and minks--not at all nice). Great for early middle school readers, perhaps even younger.
