This is one of the most beautifully written books I've ever read. Martel has a real talent for painting with words, and the depth of his philosophy is subtly apparent in each stroke of his verbal brush. Many times I stopped, took a deep breath, and re-read an entire paragraph just to enjoy it again.... more
