11 Jahre ist das richtige Alter, um das Zaubern zu lernen - finden jedenfalls Lilas Mutter und Gro�mutter. Lila ist davon jedoch alles andere als begeistert. Sie ist ein ganz normales M�dchen und das will sie auch bleiben. Erst als ihr Freund Soufi in die Zauberei miteinbezogen wird, findet sie Gefallen daran. Ob es auch klappt, ihren Vater ausfindig zu machen?

"I do not want to become a witch!" Lila has said since eleven years old. But what can she do? In her family every girl has to learn the witch trade one day; she has inherited that designation from her mother. The first lesson is approaching. Fortunately, she is able to learn it from her grandmother Amanda, because at the moment she and her mother are not getting along. In Amanda's cellar she explores a dreadful accumulation of test tubes full of scary liquid, spider webs are everywhere and Lila can hardly stand the smelliness. But the first magic trick enchants Lila because her secret love appears. Fantastic! In the evening she tries out her own magic power for the first time: The entire dishes are broken. Marvelous! And for the next lesson she also has a great idea...
