2/21/2010 Mary Sandford said: Well done, but personally I don't agree with promoting darwinian thinking that has been refuted repeatedly with new scientific discoveries. I did like the ending that left me to believe that Calpurnia would succeed in fulfilling her dreams.

8/17/2009 Tamara Schmidt said: A bit of a slow start, but the character's southern drawl got stronger and more pronounced with each flip of the page! Eventhough being a debut book, the style of writing and descriptions were well seasoned to suit the high spirits of self discovery.
