Ever since 10-year-old Sakura Avalon discovered she is a Cardcaptor with magical powers, she has been under the guidance of Keroberos, the Guardian Beast of the Seal. Stripped of his own powers, Kero looks more like a cute, cuddly stuffed animal than the great, fierce creature he really is. Together, Sakura and Kero are trying to capture all the recently escaped spirit cards and defuse their powers before they cause any harm. But there's a new Cardcaptor in town, and Li Showron, descendent of the original master of the magical cards, doesn't like the idea of sharing his title with Sakura one bit. Now the Thunder Spirit is loose, and Sakura and Li are thrown together to battle this dangerous force. Will their enmity destroy both their powers, or can the two find a way to work together to achieve what they both desire?
