This cumulative tale tells about a plain that has gone dry, and how Ki-Pat, the sheppard, brought the rain back. The text builds on itself and rhymes like the tale, The House that Jack Built. A reader could tell from the pictures what was happening, but the text enriches the suspense of the book wit... more
