Cousins Dana and Tyler, who live in the lighthouse that is part of the animal rescue facility called Project Neptune, have left their ocean side home and its rescued sea animals to stay with friends while Dana's parent's are away at a conference. Now the Weather Bureau is reporting a fierce hurricane heading up the coast... While Tyler bunks with his friends Charlie and Carter Mote, Dana and her dog Jake stay with Dana's friend, Kim. A fierce storm is just beginning, with wind and rain pounding the coast when Dana arrives at the Mote's house with the frantic news that Jake is loose and was last seen headed for home. Storm or no storm, Tyler, Dana, and Carter brave the hurricane to save Jake and a tiny kitten they find along the way. Fighting wind and water as lightning streaks the sky, they finally make it through the flooded streets to the lighthouse...to find themselves in a life or death situation.
