This is a new communicative grammar of French, providing the support needed by those studying for A Level and Higher Grade examinations, and by pupils aiming at the higher levels of the National Curriculum at Key Stage four and Standard Grade. Each chapter deals with a specific grammatical point and is divided into three sections: "mecanismes" - clear explanations in English with examples in French; "mettez-vous au point" - reinforcement exercises to practise what has been explained; and "et en marche!" - open-ended communicative activities to encourage and develop the grammar points in question. The book is ideal for examination practise and revision and includes a section on French spelling and a verb reference table.
