About Amy Lissiat

Amy Lissiat was born in France in 1920 and has worked as an artist's model, poet's muse and an international imagination consultant. In 1955, on her way to Tristan da Cunha by hot air balloon, she made a forced landing in Australia. She has lived there ever since; although for the first fifteen years she thought she was in Patagonia. She now lives in northern New South Wales.
