I tend to gravitate toward young adult novels, especially ones that delve into the darker issues teenagers face.
Currently I am working on a novel about a young boy struggling with his identity in a world that seems far too fixated on appearances. This story is quite comical, sarcastic and touches on issues such as date rape, bullying and standing up for one's self.
