I am an editor and writer, who reads and writes historical fiction. I taught writing and editing for two years until writing reasserted itself to the exclusion of everything else - except research.

My completed MG story is set in Herculaneum, on its last day.

On my blog I have written the story of how my main character in the above story became a slave, while on a journey with her father at age seven. From there I have moved on to her later life in the Roman household as a nursemaid. The process has been, and is most enjoyable.

My other wip is a paranormal mystery.
