EMMA WALTON HAMILTON is a best-selling children’s book author, editor and educator. She has co-authored over 20 books for children and young adults with her mother, Julie Andrews, seven of which have been on the NY Times Bestseller list (three times at #1), and she serves as Editorial Director for the Julie Andrews Collection publishing program, where she has shepherded dozens of children's books from idea to publication.

Emma is also a faculty member of Stony Brook Southampton's MFA in Writing and Literature, where she serves as the director of their annual Southampton Childrens Literature Conference. She also heads up YAWP, the Young American Writers Project - a multi-disciplinary writing program in Long Island middle and high schools.

In addition to writing, Emma is the creator and host of the "Childrens Book Hub", an online writing salon for childrens book authors (http://www.childrensbookhub.com) as well as "Just Write for Kids!" - an 8-week online course in writing picture books (http://www.justwriteforkids.com). She also works as a freelance children's book editor, providing manuscript evaluations and line-editing services for aspiring and established children's book authors. She is an active arts and literacy advocate, speaking to groups across the country on the value of, and synergy between, both issues.

Her book "RAISING BOOKWORMS: Getting Kids Reading for Pleasure and Empowerment" premiered as a #1 Amazon bestseller in the literacy category.
