Hi Debbie! So you're considering self-publishing. That's great! My advice? Join IBPA (Independent Book Publisher's Assn - formerly PMA). IBPA is a great resource for indie publishers. I got e-mail saying that you want to self publish a book. I have self published 14 books and can answer a lot of your questions. A list of all but my newest book is on my web site, www.familypoet.com. If you want my advice after looking at my covers, let me know.

Hi Debbie,
I have sent two emails in response to yours but, they keep bouncing back... Sent one through JF and one through my personal email in case one or the other wasn't correct but I got both back! Would love to chat since it sounds like we have some things in common-like PSU daurs!

Kindergarten teachers have the best stories, but I still wouldn't want to be one! I'm happy in 4th and 5th grades!

Debbie,
I guess that you are my first friend. I know lots of teachers because I do school visits. I read my poetry and show my illustrations. The K kids know me as the man who draws all of the funny pictures. From the 5th grade on up I am the funny poet.
