Wallace Wood is an award-winning author & illustrator. Wallace (Wally) Wood is one of the most celebrated cartoonist-illustrators of all time. Wood's creative efforts on such properties as Daredevil, Weird Science, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, MAD, Witzend, Mars Attacks, etc., has earned him great acclaim both during his lifetime and posthumously including inductions into the Eisner, Harvey and Inkwell Halls of Fame. Since the passing of the legendary artist, author and graphic novelist, just after Halloween, 1981, The Wallace Wood Estate has been managed in keeping with the artist's Last Will & Testament. 2011 saw a transitional period for the Wood Estate, with artists rights advocate J. David Spurlock taking over much of the day-to-day activities from long-time Wood associate and Estate Director Bill Pearson. As of January 2012, Mr. Spurlock has been appointed the current Director of the Wallace Wood Estate as well as Manager of Wallace Wood Properties, LLC, the official business arm of the Estate. "Wally Wood" is a trademark of Wallace Wood Properties, LLC.
