Ron Mazellan has been an illustrator for over twenty years, bridging market venues such as advertising, editorial and publishing industries. Within recent years Ron has committed his talent to the children’s book market, his current work, “A is for Abraham”, published by Sleeping Bear Press, will be released fall 2008. Other children’s books to his credit include “The Harmonica”; Charlesbridge Publishing, “Finding Daddy”; Turtle Books, “ There Come A Soldier”; Handprint Books and New York Times Best Seller, “The Longest Season” by Cal Ripken, Jr.; Philomel Publishing.

Ron has a BA in Art Studio from Wheaton College, an MA in Illustration from California State University at Fullerton and an MFA in Illustration from the University of Hartford.

Ron lives in Indiana with wife Jil and three sons. For the past 15 years, Ron has taught illustration to aspiring illustrators at Indiana Wesleyan University.
