I am a freelance writer and I have writen for a local paper doing mostly news stories. After a year with them I ahve decided that "news" is not my thing and am instead focusing on my first love, children's books. I do enjoy editorial type writing as well but find there are a lot of opinions in the world for me to be crowding it up even more with mine.
