Well, this looks like an interesting and fun site. I'm glad to have found it.

I am a writer and storyteller, making most of my living visiting schools. When people ask me what I do, I say, "I teach reading and writing skills to kids by teaching them to write stories." Storytelling is the magic that gets me asked back year after year. Anybody could present the nuts and bolts of story, but my storytelling is what sets the kids on fire.

I am also author of Kerfuffle!, a collection of rhymed poems and original cartoons almost ready to come out in a second, expanded edition, and of A Special Way of Remembering, with photographer Sylvia Horwitz. A while back I did a state book on Pennsylvania for Benchmark Books and presently have a book on Formula Ford race cars in the works. I am editor of two anthologies of writing by kids, I Stand on You and Sing That Song and Eyes Full of Sky, both published by COMPAS.
