About Karen
I have been a freelance writer for more than 20 years, writing essays, humor, inspirational articles, feature stories, interviews and profiles with celebrities, business articles, and newspaper sections for local and national publications. In 2007, I was hired, along with two other writers, to write a TV pilot and several episodes for a local producer.
For almost ten years, it has been my pleasure to serve as production designer and writer for BookPage—America’s Book Review. For several years, I wrote romance reviews for our online edition and children’s reviews for both print and online publications. In addition, I have interviewed authors, including Nora Roberts, Fern Michaels, and Julie Garwood for feature articles in BookPage.
In my spare time (ha ha) I've written a christmas story for children that adults love to read and a very much for adults, multi-genre paranormal manuscript that I'm rewriting yet one more time. Some one is going to have to publish Bliss so I can stop rewriting.
