Who am I? Good question.

I'm a father, husband and recently retired career police detective. I
just passed fifty one and have the scars to show for it.

Years ago I spent some time writing for a Washington magazine called
American Enterprise Institute, sharing my experiences as a anti-crime
task force member.

I've also written several manuscripts, one children's book based on my
young daughter's fantasy friends, and one political thriller which
tells a story about a President out of control, and the citizens who
stand fast for their rights. I hope to publish both books.

I am an avid sportsman and outdoorsman, growing up in Florida and spending all my free time in the Everglades. In the last ten years, I found a new place to wander, Alabama. A great state filled with wonderful decent people.

Recently, I built a website www.truthandcommonsense.com with links to my daughter's website which features her fantastic series of nature photographs and my outdoor website. I welcome you to visit both sites and enjoy.
