About Anne
After more than twenty years in the corporate world and a successful career as a communications executive, I recently set out on a midlife journey to build my career as a writer, speaker, and coach.
In January 2008 I received my M.F.A. in Professional Writing from Western Connecticut State University with a 3.97 G.P.A. My professional genre of study was feature/creative nonfiction; my secondary was children's.
My favorite writing genres are essay, nonfiction, fiction, and children's books. I like to write about an array of topics, but focus primarily on parenthood and women transforming their lives. I capture my musings on my blog, The Eclectic Writer (www.theeclecticwriter.typepad.com).
I love writing for children because, well, I'm still a child at heart! My first picture book is just about ready to find a publisher!
I am building my speaking platform and beginning to market speeches and workshops, for adults and children.
