I am an author and Farmers wife and live on a farm on the edge of the peak district. I write about animals and very little else. I ride horses and teach other people to ride.

I run an animal rescue and take in many strays and abandoned animals from the streets. We have rescue ponies, cats,dogs, cows and even two pigeons.

My life leaves only a small window for writting so I manage to do around two hours a day. On a really good day I can do around four hours, on a really bad day (rare) nothing!

I am working on a childrens novella and some short stories. I am also trying to break into the horse book area but this is very competative. I have a couple of training manuals about riding horses and hope to have them publlished soon.

I love to bake cakes and always have a slice ready for guests when they visit. This seems to always cheer people up. One friend even travelled from her home (8 miles) one evening declaring she fancied a piece of cake!

I love to spend time with my family and my lovely dogs (Great Danes and a Jack Russell). We love to go for long walks around the farm. We check the cows and the horses as we walk.

I love the sunshine and although I love England and all its glory I do wish the weather was a bit more stable and bright.
