Had a brilliant time at Byron Bay Writers festival. No I'm not going to the Brisbane Writers festival, although I was one of the guest authors for the Ipswich online festival which is associated with it.

Oh I'm such a dork I just read you profile and you too are in Queensland... I live in Cairns and about to publish my first children's book which seems to be pleasing the grown ups as much as the kids - a children's book for grownups and a grownup book for kids.. oh well, we'll see how we go. great t... more

Hi Peter, thanks for the message. You illustrations are very interesting, I'd like to see more. I'm in Nambour, but don't get to Brisbane often. I don't need the city. I've never thought of going to writers meetings - though I did a few workshops with Jill Morris several years ago.
