Writing has been a part of my entire life. Poetry comes easily to me and I have written poems about life situations, for birthday cards and even wedding vows. Creating a poetic account of a couple's courtship just before marriage is my recent concept and it can become a part of the actual wedding vows.
Currently I am in the accounting profession, but I taught preschool children for four years specializing in the slower-learning students. It taught to find ways in which the particular child would be able to grasp a concept/word. Not only was it challenging, but I learned how children react to different types of reading ideas and I want to share my experiences with them in poetry.
