I am an author, playright, singer, songwriter and artist. I paint in all mediums and studied fashion design in Paris. I published a book named, THE RESCUE OF BABY MEEK MEEK. It is a true story of a baby bird, a thrush, that I rescued on a summers' day that fell out of his nest. I was crying because my beloved sister had died in summer and I watched the baby fight for his life, I decided to save him. He grew up in my home and taught me to be brave and made me laugh and love nature more than ever. He was so smart I was surprised and he even knew to kiss me. He sat on my shoulder and made baby sounds in my ears that's why he was named Meek Meek. He missed his parents and had emotions. I loved him for all he taught me and my tears subsided as he grew and lived on grits. He loved grapes and still comes for them everyday. When he was old enough, we took him into the garden and set him free but he cried to come back inside. I built him a swing and he slept there. One day he started singing and it was so beautiful and then he found a mate. They danced on the lawn and soon had two babies that I called FUZZY AND WUZZY. Then He had two more OZY AND WOZY. He was a wonder father and I watched how hard he worked to feed those kids. He is a great singer and sings every day in the garden to all of life. He lives in freedom and love and has his own big family now that he plays with. I look at how he starts every day with a song and ends it with a song. If only we were that close to nature in our life we would be as happy as MeekMeek. He still calls out every morning when he comes and waits for us to answer him. He is a great example of gods' love for us. He gave us a garden called earth and everything we would need to experience the dream call life. Most of us live it in sorrow and never know happiness and soon we are gone from here, the garden of eden. He is a symbol of love and joy to us all. I love him for teaching me to be more alive and close to nature and I respect him greatly. I told him he would grow up to be a great bird and a great singer , when he was a baby and he did that and much more. God help us to live a life of love and joy like MEEKMEEK.
