My name is Marilyn Grant (I previously wrote under the pen name, Patricia Shirra) and I am a writer of fiction and creative nonfiction for teens and young adults. I love to create characters and imagine situations to get my characters into and out of.

My current writing projects include a creative nonfiction book with the working title, "Potholes in the Piazza: What They Never Told You About Studying Abroad," and a rewrite of my young adult fiction novel, "Aspie," a story about 16 year-old Morgan Williams who is severely limited in his ability to interact socially and only after a life changing experience does he come to understand why he behaves the way that he does. But now that Morgan understands his disability will he accept it?
