Want to know more? I hope so. I have been telling these stories to three children ages 11, 8 & 7 for a few years now and they are constantly begging me to tell the next story about Joseph and Josephine. They aren't just characters in a story, they have become real people with feelings and fears and laughter and love. I had to start writing the stories down so they could continue to live and grow.
It has become my newest project, though I continue to write an historical fiction novel which begins during the Civil War. It follows the heroic efforts of fifteen year-old Henry as he tries to keep his mother and sisters safe during enemy invasions, illness and near-starvation.
My mystery/thriller novel, "Shadow Stalking", has been on the market for two years and I am happy to say my readers are asking me when the next one will be published. They share the book with their friends and family and many have said they "couldn't put it down". What a compliment!
My name is Linda Clark and I haven't quit my day job as an Executive Assistant to the Principal of a high school with 2300 students in Canton, Ohio. On the side, I choreograph and direct musicals for the school as well as dabble in writing plays and short stories. I was honored to be a featured author at Wordshack.com with my short story, "Sometimes We Cry". (It is still there, if you have a mind to read it.)
TMI? (Too much information?) Sorry but when I start writing, I don't want to stop. How about you?
