My Emotional Fight
Still a child within mentally stuck way
back when something damaging seals
my fate from my past, to young to know
why my mother had to go but for me it

I LOVE YOU MOMMY
written by Daughter
2002 8yrs old
I love you mommy, I love you mommy,
mommy what should we do?
Should we go to the park,
shall we stay at home..what shall we do.
Does it matter what we do,
can I just spend some time with you

Hi Donna, You've put your heart into these poems, that's obvious. Keep writing them.

Mother of Two
It's never been written on
how it's been done
but baring these children
comes second to none
just having one is so hard to do,
it takes a great gift to be the
mother of two
A boys closest treasure is his

it might just be in the eye of the

Answer to God

There once was this old lady who
bought me some shoes
and a pretty little dress that match
them too
It wouldn't be long before her
trustworthy smile began to radiate
her grotesque and manipulative style

First Poem Title
A Future for Us
IF THERE WERE NO YOU

US TOGETHER, AND OUR KIDS
MAYBE TWO OR THREE?.
I SEE THINGS SO CLEAR
AS I PLAN TO BE YOUR WIFE

Bless Thy Father
God bless my father for every day
he deserves to be blessed I can honestly say
he took my hand to show me the way
while clearing a path for me he'd say..
"Follow this path I clear today, for I'll
never leave you or lead you a stray"

NIGHTTIME SALMES
Now I lay me down to sleep
I've recited it all till it was

Hi Donna, welcome to Jacket Flap. You have lived through some painful and hard things in your life. You could use this to write for young adults and help them in their struggles. You could include some of your poems on this site so we could read them.

Epiphany
I awoke from a dream the other day
it wasn't a normal dream for me
