I absolutely love writing and making words work in interesting ways together. Currently, I am particularly excited about writing picture books for the younger set (ages 4-7), as well as articles and chapter books for pre-teens. Inspired by the curiosity and playfulness of my own two children, I began writing picture books I thought they would enjoy listening to and looking at, on subject matter I wasn't finding in book stores or at libraries. I have since written 6 whimsical books celebrating the wonderful milestones that occur the first year of life through age five. . . a "Birthday Series" as I call it. I am now exploring the best way to have them illustrated (if I pursue self-publishing) and published, and welcome any and all ideas! ;-)
