First, may I tell you a little about myself. I am an author of three children's books BoBo the Race Car, BoBo Races on The Tricky Triangle. A third in a series... BoBo's New Challenge...Spike is completed and will be sumitted in the near future. Bess the Book Bus, co-authored by Freda Roberts, was released this past September. Two of my grandchildren inspired me to write my BoBo stories. While playing with my grandson Justin and his racing game, I thought it would be more fun if the race cars had names. My broad imagination along with my grandson's suggestions made my dream become a reality. My granddaughter Angie's exuberant reaction brought joy to my heart. I am a dedicated supporter of Jennifer Frances, the founder of Bess the Book Bus, Inc. She travels state to state delivering free books to the underprivileged children. She is an outstanding humanitarian devoted to promoting literacy to all children. Most of us are aware of the importance of reading to children that is why this book is so dear to my heart. Bess is not a passenger bus. She is a very special bus stacked with children's books ready to be given out to as many children as possible.A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Bess books will benefit Jennifer's worthy cause.
