I was born in Minot, North Dakota but grew up in Vancouver, Washington. As a youngster, I spent most of my time exploring the tree-covered banks of a small stream called Burnt Bridge Creek. My child-like imagination helped me begin writing short children's stories and poetry when I was in my early twenties and I have enjoyed the process ever since. Although my job as Broker/Branch Manager for a large real estate firm, RE/MAX Equity Group, Inc. keeps me very busy, I still occasionally find time to enjoy my favorite hobbies of fishing, hiking, golf, and singing.I was inspired by my loving wife, Madeline, to begin publishing my work. Currently, I have three published books--two illustrated children's chapter books and one young adult memoir.
