I was a teacher for many years and enjoyed working with small children. I realised how important reading is and concentrated on getting my pupils interested in literature. I learned to understand what got children motivated and now I have retired I am writing books with exciting adventure stories, and characters with whom children can identify. Children in the 8-12 age group enjoyed my first book, "The Silver Knight" and I hope they will like "Ginger Cat" just as much. It is about the same group of children plus a few others.. It is on sale now and can be purchased from Amazon. . Now I have published two e-books so children can read them on a Kindle, an ipod or ipad, a computer or an Android mobile 'phone. They are called "Pip & Pal", which is about two schoolboys with ambition and attitude. They start up a junior detective agency called Pipstec. There are three stories, each one a case solved by Pipstec; and the second book is called "Pip & the Bank Robber" in which the boys meet their favourite author and have an adventure with him.
