Bryan grew up in a suburb of an industrial city called Detroit. He majored in illustration at the Center For Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan.

He has worked in and around the Detroit advertising industry for over 25 years. Starting off as an air brusher and storyboard artist he became proficient in many traditional media including acrylics, gouache and oils as well as realistic, decorative and graphic styles. Although most of his art produced these days is digital with a traditional feel, he always starts out with a pencil sketch.

He has held many positions- illustrator, photo retoucher, graphic designer and creative director. In 2000, Bryan along with two other artists, started a small but talented company called Flying Fish Studios, Inc., where he can still be found sitting at his drawing board or painting on his Mac.

His clients include, Disney, Universal Studios, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, GM and the Parade Company. Agency work includes, Campbell-Ewald, JWT, LeoBurnett, and McCann Erickson.
