About Paul
Paul Morton has been illustrating and designing and running his busy Hot Frog Graphics studio for 30 years, working for a variety of national and international clients.
Originally starting out in traditional media - airbrush, water colour and coloured pencils, he produced Posters for Athena, Verkerke and Scandecor and hundreds of greetings cards and postcards for publishers such as Hallmark, Paperhouse and Simon Elvin etc.
"Swapping paint for pixels was the best decision I ever made and I now move light about for a living – selling arrangements of pixels to clients such as Cadbury's, Asda, Marks & Spencer, Ravensburger Games, Tomy, BHS, AXA, Co-op Bank, Panasonic, Toblerone, Time Warner, Egmont Publishing, Mattel, Kellogs etc.
As well as making a mark in the advertising and design world Paul has a deep passion for children's picture books.
In 2007 he illustrated 52 mini 'magnet' picture books for Softplay Inc. in the U.S. featuring ABC, Numbers, Colours and Shapes.
He has also just completed a froggy board book for the under 5's, and is currently working on range of magic trick cards for a children's magic company, various character based publishing projects, including Bob the Builder, and some children's games covers!
