I grew up as a dancing farmerette and became an entrepreneur, graduate teacher, social worker, foster care coordinator and financial planner. I have taught all of the elementary grades. I have a passion for writing stories of all kind, especially for children. I wrote for the column, "Native Daughter", in my hometown newspaper, "The North Baltimore News". I have published many short stories in the "Pennsylvania Farmer Magazine". I am a co-author of the book, REFLECTIONS FROM THE HEART, an inspirational book, and ANIMAL ADVENTURES, another book for children. My own book is entitled LILY PUTT'S HAT PARADE. The Lily Putt books are a series of picture books. I am the morther of two grown daughters and a step-son and the great grandmother of four. I am my husband's first mate on our boats. My husband, Mark, and I live in Little River, South Carolina.
