In February of 2011, I retired from my job as Youth Services Librarian. I worked at the same library for 22 years. Now, I do book reviews on my blog, run storytelling workshops for kids and write the odd poem and story. Someday I hope to be a published author. I also tell stories as I make noise, sometimes melodic, on my accordion.

Read up on the number of rejections famous authors have! Promise yourself 20 rejections for each piece you send it. Remember it is usually only one reader, one rejection says nothing--20 ? maybe look a little closer at it. Karen
