I'm a book editor with over 10 years experience publishing and editing general trade books. I'm a proven leader and project manager with a focus on acquisitions, editing, copy writing, and marketing presentations. I work best as a leader of or key contributor to a product development team, both initiating ideas and building on other people’s ideas. My strengths are my resourcefulness, relationships, communication, and team building.

I've been primarily a cookbook editor.It has been a joy to work with such creative people who develop amazing recipes. I have acted as the art director from leading the photo shoots to quality control to ensure accurate color, going on press checks and working with designers to adjust the digital files. However, cookbooks don't have anything on children's books. It is a pleasure for me to read a dozen books a day to my three-year-old. He just loves books and I love reading them to him. Karma Wilson is wonderful with words; Theodore Geisel was such a pioneer; and H. A. Rey overcome so much. These are truly the books that lay the foundation that get the creativity flowing in the minds of the future.
