I have drawn or made art all my life. It wasn't until recently I decided to pursue Children's Book Illustration.

My daughter , who is six, signed me up for her schools Career Day in May of 2009. She did not sign me up for the job I pay the bills with, but with my dream job--Artist. I was shocked, awed, and flattered.
I had so much fun visiting with the children discussing my art and theirs. I even drew sketches for them to take home. I had never experienced any thing like that before. It was quite awesome and gave me a fantastic feeling I can't explain. I want to do that every day!

So I am here in hot pursuit of that dream of being a Children's Book Illustrator.
