Where to start. This can, as far I can see, end up making for a boring read. I shall endeavor to make it as brief as I can, so as to limit reader boredom. I'm struggling at the early stages of my childrens book. Only 22 pages and 4,700 words. I'm roughly about a quarter of the way there. Illustrations and twitter are distracting me.

I have been writing for what seems to be an eternity but I've only just thought seriously about getting published. It would be great to have something published before I reach 45. I am, incidently, only 38 as I write this.
