Lea Beall was born in NM, raised in Texas and now lives in the Tennessee hills. She has been married to her husband for more than 25 years and homeschools her children. She enjoys writing and drawing pictures of her little dog Patches and has created a character combining his antics with memories of childhood pets. She created her first book,"The Stinkaroo Dog and the Forbidden Portal," hoping to help parents laugh with their children.
