Hello. My name is Pattie and I'm a readaholic.

I have loved stories all my life, and in the 3rd grade, I realized I also liked to write them. It wasn't until college, when my creative writing teacher (Miss Clements, a relative of Mark Twain), told me I had potential for publication. This planted a new dream in my life that I carefully tended by joining SCBWI, attending writer's conferences and joining a critique group.

In 1996, my dream came to fruition. I was published! Ten Little Dinosaurs was my first picture book, followed by Widdermaker, Fast 'n' Snappy and, most recently, Earth Day Birthday.

I currently live on the Big Island of Hawaii and would love to be in a professional critique group. Anyone interested?
