I have been a self-employed writer since leaving The Milwaukee Sentinel as an editor/writer in 1975. Since then, I have had more than 100 books published (Scholastic, Trails, Voyageur, Capstone, Franklin Watts and numerous others), plus hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles (Home & Away,Belfast News, Where to Retire, Billboard, M Magazine, et al).
