As the first publisher in Taiwan specialized on picture books and educational toys for preschoolers and young children, Hsin Yi receives the reputation in early childhood education. It also holds an annual Hsin Yi Picture Book Award which is the most prestigious award in Taiwan and cultivates a number of local illustrators.
